Last time I went pre covid it was expensive, the food was awful (took food back for a refund) and up and down like a yoyo as the boozers were either filling up or emptying. I even had to decant the water bottle I bought there from the plastic bottle to a plastic cup (no bottles allowed from the bar, but plastic eh). Dare not put your stuff on the ground cos people kick over their beer and it runs down the steps. Think there was a match on as well. Atmosphere is good but ticket prices now put me off, have they improved the food? (I swear my suspicious meat product in a roll was winking at me). Still miss the old east terrace though.

No doubt inside it is lovely then. I have not been inside for about 20 years, although even then it appeared half finished. But walking beside the river a few weeks ago, outside it looks to be shabby, past its glory days. Those massive towers that hold up the roof are flaking paint and showing rust. Every other entrance looks like a building site, or the rear entrance of a busy restaurant with smelly wheelie bins full of heaven knows what, or scaffolding scattered around. Still, people voted and who am I to hold a differing view?

I agree with some of the points brought up here in the comments. However, the stadium is something for every Welsh person to be proud of and the atmosphere is always electric!
