But I do look forward to the Senedd Cymru election debates when the soft underbelly of Reform will be exposed for all to see. And I want Plaid Cymru to bare its teeth and to rip their guts out. See, they can't demonise the EU as done with Brexit anymore or continue to attack asylum seekers when Nigel Farage himself said last last June 2024 that, and I quote: "Immigration is not a big issue in Wales". How is Reform going to square their hostility towards Welsh devolution, Wales right to self-government, but still argue that it was a right decision to leave the European Union because it stole our power and sovereignty. Less we forget. The very same hierarchy now part of Reform UK inner circle as Ukip & Brexit Party also stated their intention was to make devolution work, but if not, would seek to abolish our Senedd without a referendum. A malicious manifesto. It's a tad hypocritical don't you think seeing Reform say they want devolution to work but in the same breath are hostile to the idea of devolving power over our Crown Estate and water resource to our Senedd even though its devolution could bring hundreds millions into the Welsh economy. The truth is. They are anti-Welsh Conservative charlatans. As said in my opening statement, that Reform UK have no positive policies for Wales. No leader. No care or ideas other than, scrap this , scrap that, with saving money their mantra, which is ironic seeing one of their councillors in England , 19 year old George Finch, recently out of nappies being a toddler, had at great cost spent £150,000 on advisors despite campaigning to cut waste and save money. They are a bloody joke. And if we allow them an inch they will take a mile. Voters in Wales must understand Reform are dangerous. All they care about is furthering their cult leader Nigel Farage's populist agenda, omitting that in Trump's America the very MAGA voter base he groomed to get elected are now suffering his Doge and Ice attacks. Benefits are being stopped. Healthcare removed. Immigrant workers abducted by masked thugs who refuse to identify themselves. Don't think this will happen in Wales? Wake up! Who can recall that 2015, C4 ,mockumentary, "Ukip, first 100 Days in power." It's content is uncannily accurate seeing what's occuring in America and how Nigel Farage's intention is to copy & paste Trumpian policies. So beware what you wish for. You might get it

Anyone prepared to subject Reform UK and its agenda to any serious scrutiny will be fairly easily able to see what manner of people are leading it and shilling for it. But my impression is that quite a lot of voters don't do scrutiny of that sort, and that right now what is driving many of them is the feeling that since the governments which we've had over the last couple of decades have presided over what they perceive as a general diminution of their quality of life, the time has now come to 'give someone else a chance'. And, given Farage's undoubted skill in self-publicity and projecting matey affability and allowing for the degree of attention which the news media pay to him, when they look to some alternative to the weary and discredited 'same old same old' on the political scene, it's to Reform that they're looking first of all.

I think we should be seriously worried about what is going on. There were at least 400 people marching in Newtown last weekend complete with Welsh flags and Yma o hyd playing these organisers are trying to appropriate Welsh symbols. There small but very worried ethnic minority groups in this rural area. Great to see Plaid Cymru + Labour MP there to oppose them. Some dangerous forces have been unleased I know some of them and their hatred is visceral. We need to step away from nativism as they have in Scotland and support anyone who lives here wholeheartedly. And somehow try and rediscover our moral and ethical past. What would Hedd Wyn or Lewis Valentine say?
