Tommy Robinson says he has left UK after being named in IS publication

Police have warned Tommy Robinson after they received intelligence that he was named in a so-called Islamic State publication which encouraged others “to commit violence” against him.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, posted a clip of a phone call from police to his X account in which an officer told him he had been identified in a magazine called Yalghar, which is reportedly published by ISKP, Islamic State Khorasan Province.

“So we have received intelligence that an Isis publication has stated… are encouraging others to commit violence against yourself,” the officer told Robinson.

Bedfordshire Police, the force in Robinson’s hometown Luton, confirmed the phone call was legitimate and happened on Thursday.

In the footage, Robinson asked if he could get a copy of the publication, but was told it is likely proscribed material.

The officer continued: “Just remind, you know, because of this information, it doesn’t authorise you to carry weapons, anything like that, take any pre-emptive action against others, if you’re aware of any action…”

Alongside the video, the 43-year-old wrote on X on Friday: “I have now left the country, I need time to work things out for my safety and the safety of my family.

“I will probably have to relocate them.

“I will update you when I can.”

A spokeswoman for Bedfordshire Police said: “Yesterday (Thursday), officers contacted a man from Bedfordshire after being made aware that his name appeared in prohibited material produced by a proscribed organisation.

“He was provided with safeguarding advice and support in line with our standard processes.”

That is weird, surely you would think he is safer in the UK than in a foreign country.

Ah, I see your mistake there Amir...... You're assuming that "thinking" was involved rather than "reacting"......!

I'd like to thank Tiny Robbingscum for keeping us safe from the grave threat of Islamism by.... stalking and harassing a trans teacher. He could almost be an IS recruit if he wasn't a washed up coke pig.

Is fake Tommy pretending to be ex-military with this name choice?

At his 'Incite the Kingdom' hate march, he platformed Spaceboy who said directly to me down a camera lens 'Violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die'. If violence does come to me, it will most likely be from the ilk of moron assembled there. The lesson for Stephen is that you don't get to incite violence and expect to remain safe from threats of thw same. It is by nature a two way street.

"What!! Bad people are allowed to threaten and harass me? I thought I was the only one allowed to do that!! This can't be right. Well I'm going to run away so they can't find me....ha! That'll fox them".... says very recognisable, easily identifiable man of whom there are thousands of photos across the internet. I don't want anyone to kill him because that scumbag should never be allowed to be anyone's excuse for a martyr. However, I don't hate the idea of him running scared and being afraid everywhere he goes that the friendly brown face he sees is actually a prelude to him getting a kicking (when it's actually just a genuinely welcoming local) so he's in a permanent state of wetting his pants. Maybe then he'll have a clue what it feels like to be in an asylum hostel while a mob outside set fire to it for crimes they know that you personally didn't commit but they just don't care. Maybe he'll learn what it feels like for the family that get their windows smashed by their own neighbours and are afraid to go out of their house. Perhaps he will understand what it's like for so many parents who are honestly terrified, not worried, terrified if their children are ten minutes late home without a call or message. I hope it lasts a good while and I hope he gets to enjoy living with the kind of fear he's encouraged people to inflict on others time and again. If that makes me a bad person, I can live with it.

Excellent news. I genuinely hope it's for a long time, but given his history it'll probably last until he gets a nice sun tan.

Or until his supporters are gullible enough to raise money for his flight to return home.

Don't the police have a duty of care, shouldn't they be putting tommy and his family in a safe house if they believe his life is in danger ,he is a UK citizen born and bred.

I can't stand him and don't agree with anything he says, I would also be happy if he just disappeared off into the sunset. Yet on saying that I do condemn any alleged threat of violence towards any individual with an opposing political point of view.In the same way that I condemn Elon Musk for his implied threat of violence at the Unite the Kingdom Rally.

Fleeing his homeland for fear of his safety. Wonder if he'll stop in the first safe country. Single male. I wonder if he'll find refuge a country which has been groomed by men like him to hate foreigners🫡
