It is their loss. I think as a news platform for Wales with a very balanced and eagle eye view of what is going on in Wales and Welsh folk, nation.cymru has its finger on the pulse. Most likely, nothing much will happen in the conference other than a few tears and hugs of commiseration.

I think banning you from the conference is their loss, and smacks of the behaviour of Starmer’s new best friend, Donald Trump. i was amused that WOL headlined their report of his speech as warning that Farage is treating the Welsh people as fools. Comments were turned off on that and many other articles. i was going to point out that being treated as fools has been increasingly our experience of the Labour Party, so I will do it here. If you listened to Starmers so-called speech two things would have happened you’d realised that he was talking pure rubbish even contradicting himself on Reform spurting lies about them . He for a so-called Prime Minister made it clear he has no brain. His lies were unbelievable he spurted them out with every sentence. This was an old speech written by some script writer who does not have a clue. I’m not a reform follower but his words will surely bury Welsh Labour with the lies. It is of course a disgrace that NC is banned; but hardly a surprise given that Transport House is stuffed with Gething acolytes. On the other hand, there is nothing worth listening to there anyway. It's ok he excluded anyone left of Thatcher from the main Labour conferences too. This party, Nu New Labour 0.2 is not interested in anything else than implementing more of the same neoliberalism this country has been subjected to for decades. And their welfare cuts have terrorised the working poor disabled and unemployed more so here than anywhere else. Welsh & UK Labour are so arrogant they still think with their dire record in office that the obedient Welsh will still vote for a party that's effectively spat in our faces. Deluded Eluned Morgan talks tough but her yelp is worse than her bite. She can cuddle up to Keir Starmer in Llandudno all she likes. Think the polls will move back into her & their favour with UK Labour's policy u-turns. But it's too late. You record in office is a poor one and you are tainted by association. The only party fighting for Wales interests in Cardiff and London are Paid Cymru not Welsh Labour or their Westminster counterparts Wales Labour MPs. They've had plenty of time to create legislation in the Senedd , put it to a vote, stipulating under Welsh law that any party running for office in next year's Senedd election's leader must stand as a candidate not use a proxy. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch is not leading the Welsh Conservatives Senedd campaign. Darren Millar is. He is the leader of his party in Wales. I thought Welsh Labour would have closed that loophole used and abused by that little England Conservative crook Neil Hamilton, who in 2016 was a elected for Ukip under the list system in Carmarthenshire, refused to move to his constituency, whilst a resident of Wiltshire, England. And we could have a similar situation where Nigel Farage campaigns , wins seats , then afterwards parachutes in a leader in Wales not scrutinized by the voters. Totally undemocratic. I agreed with Starmer's assertions until he suggested Plaid Cymru would work with Fascists, or for that matter Tories. Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Plaid rule out working with the Tories before the last Senedd Election? Plaid will NEVER do deals with Fascists like so called Reform. So, I'm pretty sure that what Starmer said is not just a lie, but libel.
