The Israeli military says it is looking into whether Hamas’s top leader Yahya Sinwar has been killed in a military operation in Gaza.

The military said in a statement on Thursday that three militants were killed during operations in Gaza, without elaborating.

Checking

It said the identities of the three were so far not confirmed, but that it was “checking the possibility” that one of the three was Mr Sinwar.

Mr Sinwar was one of the chief architects of Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7 last year.

He was chosen as the group’s top leader following the assassination of Ismael Haniyeh in July in an apparent Israeli strike in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Although it's often quoted that one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter, I celebrate no ones death as there's still more terrorists at large in the Israeli Knesset, who rule with impurity and in pain sight. What most are not aware of. There would be no Hamas If it were not for Benjamin Netanyahu & Israel who deliberately sidelined the PLO & Yasser Arafat Fatah party's influence in Gaza with the sole intention of weakening the influence dividing those in Gaza from the West Bank so stopping the creation of a Palestinian state. Netanyahu treated Hamas like a partner covertly funding them to make a two-state solution nye impossible. After all, Israel controls the funding of the Palestinian Westbank & Gaza, besides everything else. Just look at Israel's so-called targeted strikes. It's a scorched earth policy. They want to make Gaza unlivable. It's ethic cleansing live streamed to the world. Absolutely abhorrent. See Israel's isolating the occupied West Bank was a deliberate and cynical ploy. Ever heard the term. Divide and Conquer. We on Wales should know exactly what that entails. And where we find ourselves today sadly. Over 42,000 dead in Gaza. Over 680 murdered in the Occupied West Bank where Hamas has no control by the way. And over 2000 slaughtered in Lebanon as reported by the Lebanese Health Ministry as from the 4th of October. This figure has obviously increased as from today, October 17th. Even UN peace keepers are now being targeted by Israeli tank shells. Another war crime added to Israel's long list human rights abuses and Genocide. Senseless.
