Watch Catherine Zeta-Jones speaking Welsh with her adorable niece

Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared a lovely video with her 3.8 million Instagram followers of her and cute Welsh-speaking niece Ava Zeta.

Currently on holiday in the Balearics with her Welsh family after being apart due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s little Ava who is the star this time.

She sent a message to her global legion of fans with niece Ava translating her words into Welsh.

Perched on her Aunty’s lap, having a lovely cwtch, the film star introduced her niece before Ava did a brilliant job of bringing the Welsh language to a worldwide audience of millions.

"I'm here with my beautiful niece Ava Zeta," explained Catherine.

'Fi wedi cael amazing day!' said the youngster who also told fans how they had gone swimming and shopping and were now waiting for their dinner.

It’s fair to say the video went down well, with hundreds of messages praising Ava on language skills and cuteness, while others commented on how lovely it was to hear Welsh being spoken.

One fan, tiffany_a_chuter, said: "Da iawn Bach!!! Odd na'n brilliant! Mae yn mor neis i clywed gymraeg ar y sianel Catherine!! Xxxx" This translates as: "Well done!!! It was brilliant! It's so nice to hear welsh on the Catherine channel !! Xxxx"
